Panoramic views a wait you at every turn of Round Top Drive. The views extend from Diamond Head to Ewa Beach, with the vast blue ocean as a backdrop. The twist and turns of Round Top Drive allow for many turnouts along the way. So, pull off to the side of the road and enjoy the views. While driving up Round Top drive you may want to stop at Puʻu ʻUalakaʻa State Park and take a break. Why not take a quick lunch with you and enjoy the natural beauty of the park. There is a look out station in the park which offers a grand view of leeward Oahu. There is also an area for eating as well as a restroom.

Need to Know:
The Drive is about 10 miles and is uphill half way so make sure you have at least half a tank of gas. Bring water.
Directions:
From Waikiki go to Ala Wai Blvd (one way only) make a right onto Kalakaua Ave then a left on S. Beretania (one way only). Make a right onto Keeaumoku and cross over the H1. Make a right onto Wilder and then a left onto Maikiki. Go up until you see Round Top Drive. If you continue on Round Top Drive it will turn into Tantalus. If after driving through Round Top/ Tantalus you want to go to Punchbowl Memorial go across Auwaiolimu and make a right on Puowaina Dr and follow the signs.
Round Top Dr and Tantalus is a good spot to catch the city lights at night. But the Lookout @ Puu Ualaokua Park is closed at night.
