Kamehameha grew up as a child among men in Waipio Valley on  the Island of Hawaii and earned the name "The Lonely One." He would rise to be the most glamorous figure in Hawaiian history. Not only did he unite the islands under one supreme rule, but he established himself as a fierce warrior and wise and compassionate leader to his people.
