A well-cared for 13.5-acre garden with a bit of the wild in the urban core of Honolulu, Hawaii. Come enjoy this magnificent open space with its majestic trees and palms. A wide variety of plants can be found within this garden. But Foster Botanical Garden is best known for its wide variety of orchids. There is a showcase of orchids located t the back of the garden on the Vineyard Blvd side. But the orchids can also be found spread thought out the garden.

Directions:
From Waikiki goto Ala Wai Blvd make a right onto Kalakaua Ave then a left on Beretania. Make a right onto Nuuannu Ave. 2nd street from the turn make a left onto N. Vineyard Blvd. Stay in the right hand lane. Foster Gardens is on the right hand side of the street.
One of the more exotic varieties of trees at Foster Botanical Garden is the Cannon Ball Tree. Named for the shape of the cannon ball shaped fruit produced by this unique tree. The flowers are beautiful with a bright red color.
You will also find other exotics like the sausage tree and spice tree.
